We craft traditional and homestead products and run classes to teach YOU.
Handwork, ceramics, and soaps are the main focus but other items make limited appearances.
- We create small batch handcrafted soaps made with as many locally sourced materials as possible.
- Our ceramics are handmade locally and they will go great in every room of your house.
- Handwork is done intentionally by hand for decades of use.

Kid Classes
We are only offering private classes due to the pandemic. Classes are available with a minimum of 2 and no more than 4 participants. Call or email to make appointments.
Ceramics Series
We will explore clay. We will start with hand made vessels: puki pots, pinch pots, mugs, and bowls.
Sewing Series
We will explore embroidery and sewing. We will be making sewn toys, pillows, warming bags, and small quilts.
Knitting Series
We will find our own knitting success: finger knitting to more complex patterned work.
No child is to young to explore yarn. I have taught children as young as 4 years old to knit.
Weaving Series
Each child will learn to weave on a lap loom, a large cooperative loom, and a garden loom. They will learn and incorporate design and color principles into their work.
Clay Sculpture Series
We will explore and discover making clay sculptures. We have had many small creatures both real and imaginary with colorful stories to retell.
Woodwork Series
We will make wood block stilts, a pencil holder, a candle holder, buttons, and other great wooden treasures to take home. We will use wood, sanding techniques and manual tools.
Felting
We will learn to felt beads for a necklace, vessels, caves, gnomes, and felt fabric to make things to wear (maybe a hat or broach).
Painting
We will explore gauche (wet on wet) painting methods, acrylic on canvas, construct paper sculptures out of paintings, create bookmarks, postcards and other items.
Print Making
We will create designs to use on fabrics and paper. We will make shirts, scarves, cards, and more with our prints.
